  • Penny Carnival – All students will take part in our annual carnival. Students are invited to dress in Halloween colours, and bring a small donation for Holy Childhood. Students will run through a variety of fun stations throughout the day. Please be reminded that Halloween Treats are not to be brought to school.
  • Photo Retakes – Please send your retake order form with your child on or before Thursday, Nov. 3.
  • If you choose to have a Comfort Kit for your child(ren), please ensure that it is brought to school no later than Wednesday, Nov. 2nd.
  • We ran our full-scale emergency drill yesterday. The drill was successful and we were able to implement and practice all of the elements of our Emergency Plan.
  • Parents of children with a medical condition, allergies which require epipen, asthma or special medications can sign up with the No Child Without Medic Alert Foundation of Canada. Informative pamphlets were sent home to parents of children with known medical conditions. Please contact the office to get more information.
  • We are in great need of parent/grandparent volunteer readers to come and read with struggling students one hour a week (same day and time each week). Please let me know if you are able to help out. Thank you in advance.
  • Congratulations to our boys soccer team who is competing in the Big 8 soccer finals today. We wish them and their coach Mr. Loretan good luck today! Go Celtics Go!
  • Thank you to the PSG for sponsoring our Tennis program. The program will run next week and the week after. All students will receive 4 sessions.
  • Hot Lunch forms for November were sent home on Thursday, additional forms are available on the school website www.stpatsschool.org – Parent Center – Hot Lunch.Due date is Wednesday November 2nd
  • Fundraising news:
    • If you would like to purchase tickets for Paint Night you can purchase them through the fundraising committee by October 31. You can email Shannon Mckenzie at svanderpauw@hotmail.com.
    • We are in need of parents to help with the Trivia Night questioning committee. This committee is responsible for creating questions that will be used on trivia night. If you are able to help, please contact Assunta Budd at assunta@shaw.ca.
