Principal's Message

Our dedicated staff strives for excellence in all areas of school life not only as outlined in the Ministry of Education requirements, but to also guide them in their Faith journey.

We look forward to continual academic, spiritual, and social growth, as we work together as a Catholic school community. Together let’s encourage each other to “Let the same character be in you that was in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). In doing so, with God’s blessings, our most precious gifts – our children, will grow to be the best they can be.

Yours in Christ,
Mr. Clive Heah

Student Diversity

We have been blessed by the many gifts of our talented students. Their spirit is apparent as our students participate in liturgical celebrations, and become involved in co-curricular initiatives. We are proud of their efforts as they work to achieve the expectations, and model the image of Jesus. Our students are offered many opportunities to grow as a Catholic school community through the sports teams, clubs, extracurricular activities, and service activities they participate in.

Call to Service

Our students demonstrate the call to service through their many acts of kindness, showing their genuine concern for others, as they donate food to the Food Bank, and raise money on our “Celtic Days” to support many organizations such as Chalice, Holy Childhood, Covenant House, etc. This year, these acts of service will be even more meaningful as we celebrate this year’s school theme “I Can Do All Things Through Christ.” We are called to enter into a deep, personal and intimate relationship with Jesus, so that we can truly know and understand the meaning of this theme. As we learn to put our lives into the hands of God, we become better equipped to evangelize and spread the Good News. As Archbishop Michael Miller told our CISVA community, we are in the “Saint making business.” Let us see the holiness in each other and let us lead our young people to truth. To do so is nothing less than an act of love.

Catholic Community

We enjoy a vibrant and active partnership with the support of our Parish Priest, Father Matthew To, with our parish – St. Patrick’s and with Fr. Mario Marin and our neighbouring parish St. Luke’s Parish. Together we work diligently to nurture the faith lives of our young people. Our parents generously give their time to our school community throughout the year. This is evident through their active participation and willingness to volunteer their time. Our parents assist on class excursions, help with school functions, run the Hot Lunch program and participate in various other parent participation jobs. They are also an integral part of our fundraisers. They make a positive difference in the lives of our students and our learning community! St. Patrick’s Elementary School is a vibrant and wonderful place to be. As you look through our website, we trust that you will see how dynamic it is here. We have so much to be thankful for… our staff, students, parents / guardians, and many volunteers.
