Dear Families,

As we are still in Easter season, I want to share this prayer with your family:

Christ is Risen: The world below lies desolate
Christ is Risen: The spirits of evil are fallen
Christ is Risen: The angels of God are rejoicing
Christ is Risen: The tombs of the dead are empty
Christ is Risen indeed from the dead, the first of the sleepers,

Glory and power are his forever and ever.

St. Hippolytus of Rome

Yours In Christ,

Mrs. Maria Fonseca

A big congratulations to Devlin & Katelyn on their Baptism today!

We are so blessed to have witnessed this beautiful blessing!

May God bless you always!

We are more that HALF WAY through selling raffle tickets! On Thursday, your child(ren) brought home an order form to sell tickets to be included in a draw for prizes for the week of April 24-28. Any students who sell tickets during the week will get their name in a draw for a gift card. The class who sells the most for the week will earn a class treat.

Here is the jotform if you would like to order them online.

Please send payment into the office or give it to a member of the Fundraising Team.

Send back all tickets stubs with names and email addresses. If you wish to purchase single tickets, please add that to order form and Fundraising will send you individual tickets instead of the full booklet. Ticket stubs that are not returned, will NOT be entered into the draw.

Love Ed Mandatory Program for Gr. 4-7

Last week (Apr. 12th) a package with a link was sent out to our Gr. 4-7 families regarding a program called Love Ed. This is a mandatory program for families with students in Gr. 4-7.

C.I.S.V.A. has made available to us Colleen Mast’s program “LoveEd” which allows us to continue meeting the BC Ministry curriculum through an alternate delivery and honour our Catholic understanding that sexuality formation best happens in the family. The program provides a series of online videos for you to watch with your child. The videos are free for all parents to access, however the print materials must be purchased at your cost, should you want a detailed training program.

In order to help you avoid having to purchase the resources, we have suggested questions that accompany the parent videos. Our hope is that these will provide parents with a platform to start the meaningful conversations that will hopefully continue well beyond the videos. If you have a child in a younger grade and would like access to this material, please email [email protected] and I will send you the link.
