Dear Families,
This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord. As it is written in the law of the Lord – Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord. And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. – Luke 2: 22-24
May we always seek the Kingdom of God with the heart of the child.
Yours In Christ,
Mrs. Fonseca
School Closure Due to Inclement Weather
In the event of a school closure, your best source of information is the REMIND APP. We also have our Instagram (@st.patrick_school_mr) and Facebook group, where the information can be posted. Please do not phone the school, as no one will be here to answer your call.
Many factors are taken into consideration when calling for a snow day. The main one is the safety of our students and staff. As we have many people travelling a distance to school, we have to factor in the safety of the roads. If we are open and you do not feel safe to drive in, please send an absentee note for your child with the reason being “weather-related”.
