Dear Families,

It has been quite a busy week. Last weekend, our RC Challenge teams represented the school at a tournament and did really well. Our Grade 7 team came in second place overall!

Today, we hosted a volleyball tournament for Grade 5. Our students represented our school well. Thank you to Mrs. Murphy, Mr. Vastenhout, Mr. Geary, the Grade 7 helpers and the parent volunteers!

Photo Retake Day- Nov. 21

Please ensure that your child comes in FULL uniform if they would like to have retakes.

A short note in the agenda would help classroom teachers know which students need to have their pictures taken.

Used Uniform Sale- Nov. 23

The used uniform sale will be from 2:15-3:15 pm in the covered walkway.

Advent Wreath Making Night- Nov. 29

Advent Wreath Night is open for everyone in the community! CGS Catechists & the Altar Servers will be hosting the event. There will be a hot chocolate bar served by the Altar Servers. Come purchase your ticket and wreath kit for $15 at the parish office. Tag us on Instagram with the #StPatsWreathNight on your stories for a chance to win a Holy Grounds candle.

The event will take place in the school gym from 6:00 pm- 8:30 pm.

Christmas Concert- Dec. 12

Save the date! Our Christmas Concert is on Dec. 12 with a 1:00 pm matinee and 6:30 pm evening show. Entry is by donation. Part of the proceeds will go towards our donation to the Order of St. Clare.

A small concession will be made available with popcorn, donuts and drinks. Cash only.

Gift Cards for Hours- Fundraising

Our fundraising committee is getting ready for the auction during Trivia Night in February.

If you would like to offset some of your volunteer hours, please send gift cards in denominations of $25 to any local business.

$25 gift card will give you an hour off your parent participation hours (maximum of 5 hours).

Neufeld Farms- Due Nov. 26

Help support St. Patrick’s school by ordering lots of regular grocery items and get all your favorite cookies, pies, cheesecakes and Christmas party goodies too! Lots of Vegan and sugar-free options. Delivery date is Tuesday, December 5th at 2:30 pm at the school.

Liturgical Choir Practices

The Liturgical Choir (Gr. 5-7) will be singing at the 5:30 Mass on Saturday, Nov. 18th.

Students are to come in their uniform to Mass.Intermediate choir Practices:

• every Wednesday @ 8:00am
• no school mass Friday @ 8:00am

Liturgy Choir:

• Grade 6, 7 – Wednesday, November 29, December 6 – lunch recess practice @ 12:00 pm
• Grade 6, 7 – School Mass Friday, December 8 – morning practice @ 8:00 am
• Grade 4, 5 – Wednesday, December 13, 20 – lunch recess practice @ 12:00 pm
• Grade 4, 5 – School Mass Friday, December 22 – morning practice @ 8:00 am
