  • Thank you to Anita Alberto and the fundraising team for hosting our Christmas Photo sessions! For those families that are having their portraits taken Saturday (Dec. 7th) please go to the music room for your session.
  • There have been a lot of sick students the last couple of weeks. Please keep your child home if they are unwell so the they do not spread their illness to the other students and teachers. We are reminding students at school to regularly wash their hands during the day.
  • We will be having a Christmas Colours themed Dress Down day on Wednesday. Students are invited to come to school dressed in their best Christmas outfit (Ugly Christmas sweaters, Christmas headbands and jewellery, etc…). There will be two nice prizes for best outfit in primary and intermediate!
  • Please be reminded that students are asked to keep their toys at home and not bring them to school.
  • A very big thank you to Mrs. Jen Juhasz, the Hot Lunch Team and all the parent volunteers who have stepped forward to help make our Christmas Lunch possible. A big thank you goes out to our parents and local businesses who helped with food donations!
  • Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1350.00 for Chalice at last week’s dress down day! With this incredible collection, we were able to cover the cost for our sponsor child Angel’s annual sponsorship as well as purchasing many of the class gifts (livestock, school supplies, medical equipment…).
  • Please remember that we cannot accept any food from outside. With the upcoming Christmas season, I wanted to remind parents not to bring in treats for the students. There are treats purchased from the school that are given to the students (ex – candy canes, treat bags for Hot Lunch…), all clearly marked Peanut Free. If you would like for your child to bring a treat for their classmates, pencils, erasers, stickers are good options (or any other non-food item). Our students’ safety has to remain our priority.
  • Please make sure that you have the Christmas Concert date in your calendars. The matinee will be at 1:00pm on December 19th and the evening show will be on the same day at 6:30pm.
  • The Celtic Club: Before & After School Care will be open as usual on Friday December 20th. It is a half day for students and the Celtic Club will be open at noon to accept students. Pick up must be by 5:30. If you need to use the drop-in service that day (Dec. 20th) please be sure to email [email protected] so she will know to expect you.
