Celtics Chatter, Friday, December 22

December 22, 2023

Dear Families,

On behalf of the staff, I’d like to wish you all a blessed Christmas and a restful break. These past few weeks have certainly been busy, and we look forward to slowing down a little and reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2: 8-14)

Thank you for your holiday well wishes and generous gifts!

Yours In Christ

Mrs. Maria Fonseca

Personnel Changes

We would like to wish Mrs. Cheng good luck in her future endeavors as she will be leaving our school at the end of this month. She has been an integral part of our school community, and we appreciate the dedication and hard work she has demonstrated during their time with us.

As we are going to be moving some staff around, I’m sorry to let you know that we will not have a French specialist for the rest of this school year. Ms. McBride will be stepping into the Grade One classroom, and Mrs. Stradeski will be team-teaching Grade Three with Ms. Schroeder.

We appreciate your understanding at this unusual time of transition.

Thank You

A huge THANK YOU to our Christmas lunch volunteers, led by Ms. Castle. The lunch was delicious and enjoyed by all! What a wonderful way to build memories with our school family.
