Sing to the LORD a new song, sing to the LORD, all you lands. Sing to the LORD; bless his name. Psalm 96:1-2

Daily Health Check

Friday, January 14, 2022

Dear Families,

It is great to see your children back at school this week. There was a lot of excitement as they shared their holidays with us and of course all the fun they had in the snow. I guess as adults, we see the weather differently. It has definitely caused some concern with our traffic flow and walkways. Thank you to all who helped remedy the situation and thank you all for your patience.

This week’s Gospel reading is one of my favourites, The Wedding at Cana. In John 2:4 Jesus says to Mary “Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come.” Some days I feel those words deeply. I ask and plead and want Jesus to show me His plans immediately but He may not be ready to unfurl all of His plan for me. My prayer is for patience, to wait and see His plan and the courage follow His plan as He lays it out for me.

May God bless you with a fruitful and blessed week.

Yours In Christ,

Mrs. Maria Fonseca
