PARENT / TEACHER CONFERENCES
Non – Instructional Day

  • Walk-a-thon money, pledge sheets and envelopes can be handed in to the school office, we would like to collect all money by Monday, October 28th so we can get our total and hand out prizes. Please note that even if no money was raised, we still need the envelope and pledge sheet back. Thank you again to all of our families for their hard work with Walk-a-thon!
  • Please ensure that you sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences if you have not yet done so Click here
  • Good luck to our R.C. Challenge Team members who compete in a tournament this weekend! A big thank you to Mrs. Sim and Mrs. Sketchley for stepping up and overseeing our R.C. Challenge during Ms. A’s absence.
  • On October 31st, we will be having a “Celtic Day” – it is a Halloween colours (orange & black) dress down day and will be collecting items for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. They will use these items to assemble approximately 35 Christmas hampers. Donation boxes are in the hallway outside the office. Items they are looking for include:
    • canned tuna, canned salmon, canned chicken, canned chili, canned beans & peanut butter
    • Other: coffee, tea, juices (lunch box and 1 Litre), cereal, oatmeal, granola, pancake mix, pancake syrup, pasta, rice, canned soups, canned fruit, canned vegetables, crackers, granola bars, jam, cookies, small bags of sugar, flour, small ketchup, small mustard, margarine & chocolates
    • **If some families would prefer to donate cash, they would use it towards buying a turkey or ham, plus milk, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Save-On-Food Gift Cards are available for purchase in the school office, these are made available through the Till-Tape Program and the generosity of the Save-On-Food stores.

From Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary

  • ANNUAL CARNEY GARAGE SALE October 26th & 27th The biggest annual indoor garage sale in the Tri-Cities area will be held on Saturday October 26th (8:30am to 3:30pm) and Sunday October 27th (9:30am to 1:30pm) at Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School.  We have Furniture, Clothing, Small Appliances, Books, Toys, Audio/Video Electronics, Kitchenware, Sporting Goods, Halloween and Christmas Items, Hardware, and much more.  Highlighting the event is also a section with Premium Quality Boutique items.  As always, we also have a Silent Auction, Concession food and our famous Home-made Bake Sale.
  • 21st ANNUAL CARNEY CRAFT FAIR Saturday November 9th and Sunday November 10th  Over 150 crafters in attendance – there is something for everyone!
