Thank you for taking the time to “meet” our staff. Each teacher has a short video presentation for you about themselves and the expectations for the school year. The updated parent handbook is attached. Please read it carefully and reach out if you have any questions.
A few changes for you:
– COVID Health and Safety Protocols is added as an Appendix. Any of the expectations and routines follow CDC and Worksafe BC guidelines and are subject to change.
– Intermediate students (Gr 4-7) are allowed to bring Chromebooks or iPads to class for classwork. Teachers must be allowed access to their screens and devices are not permitted outside at recess.
– There has been a slight change with regards to footwear. Short boots to the ankle are permissible because your child will inevitably be on the field a few days a week.
We pray that we will be able to meet each other in person soon, but until then please keep in contact via email or phone and stay safe!

Parent Handbook 2020-21
Drop off and Pick Up Areas
Please observe the drop off and pick up areas. We ask that parents/guardians please stay off the blacktop areas to limit the number of people there. It is important that students use the crosswalk to cross the parking lot. Please model this for all the children by using it yourself.
Temporary Transition Work Pick Up
This Friday is our first Temporary Transition Work Pick up. There will be a table in the covered walk way from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm with work folders. You may come and pick up your child’s work folder. Please email the teacher if you have any questions. Any directions or instructions will be emailed to you before Sept 21, which will be their “first” day. Please share the videos below with your child so they can “meet” their teacher.

Message from Hot Lunch
St. Patrick’s is pleased to be able to continue to offer a Vendor-supplied Hot Lunch for this school year. The first lunch of the year is Dominos Pizza day and will be served on Wednesday, September 30th. Message from Fundraising
The Fundraising team would like to welcome all the new and returning families to St. Patrick’s Elementary school. We are so happy to be back! As a team, we work hard to raise much needed funds for our beloved school while incorporating events that encourage community involvement and create lasting memories.
As we are all aware, Covid-19 makes this years annual events a little more challenging and as of right now we will be unable to host the much anticipated Trivia night and Paint Night this year. We are working hard on coming up with some creative and fun ways to continue to be financially supportive to our school while giving our school community a chance to stay involved. Please be patient with us as this year will be bring many changes and we are doing our best to navigate through this weird and unpredictable time.
